This week I have a challenge for you and it starts with the question:
What do you want?
I know, you are a servant hearted leader, and thinking about what you want can feel selfish at first.
But my friend, it is not. This is your time to navigate and ask yourself, "What do you want?" You could be in a career or relationship where you are unhappy. You may be feeling like you are not where you want to be; or you may not be getting something you need to be happy.
This is your time to reflect and make changes.

✨️Press Pause Tip of the Week✨️
Take a moment to journal and reflect on what in your life is just right. Reflecting on the past allows you to see what changes you can make for the future. I often hear others saying "Forget about the past" or "Your past doesn't define you." This doesn't mean you should stop looking at the past but instead knowing when to reflect on the past.
I make an effort to Press Pause and do a yearly reflection. During this time I look to see the positives and the negatives.
With this information I am able to let future events change instead of rewriting the past.

Does this time of year have you feeling too busy?
In this week's Press Pause, I am giving you the reminder to take time to savor the moments in your day, and in this special season. These things can be small.
When you intentionally stop the rushing and take the time to notice them, they bring a smile to your face. What are these type of moments:
- The cup of coffee you start your morning with
- The enjoyment you feel as you pick out a special gift for a loved one
- Catching a snowflake on your tongue
- Decorating cookies with your kids
- The soft glow of a candle
This Holiday season will soon be over. Take time to savor the moments of this special season.

Are you getting the restful sleep you need each evening?
If sleep is something you feel like never comes naturally I understand. As a busy entrepreneur and parent finding time to get sleep, especially when you are always on the go, is a challenge. And when you finally get to bed your brain isn't shutting off.
In this moment, you need to Press Pause.
Press Pause and follow my Tips for Great Sleep. My first tip to you is to set a regular sleep schedule. When you are going to bed and waking up at the same time each day, even on weekends, you are training your body to wind down and wake up naturally and produce melatonin when it is time for bed.

Are you someone that is easily able to get the proper rest you need? Or does stress impact your ability to get a good night’s sleep?🤔 As a busy mom and entrepreneur it is easy to be the latter of the two, I know I was. You eat, sleep, and breathe work. You work two full time jobs as a parent and business owner. And even when you go to bed your mind is still on the go.🤯 In this moment, you need to Press Pause⏸️. Press Pause⏸️ and make an 8 PM rule. This means at 8 PM each night it's time to start your nightly wind down. This means not going back to do work even though it's tempting. Doing so will only reenergize your brain when it needs the rest.

How many times have you set health goals and life got in the way?
I know it's not easy to stay on track especially when you are the last person you take care of in a day. Work, kids, spouse, they all come first but you need to look at this differently. You need to put YOU first otherwise you won't be who you want to be to them. Take a moment and think about your current health. Ask yourself these questions:
Am I regularly eating whole foods and healthy meals?
Is going to the gym a priority or a "when I have time for it?"
Am I waking up feeling rested and ready to take on the day?
If you felt like you needed work on any of these areas then it is time for a Health Reset. It starts with you and your desire to live an abundant life on your terms.
